The streams are aimed away from the ear drum, and cause a swirling, rocking motion in the ear that gently lifts the cerumen off the ear drum. This technique is very fast, a favorite among veterenarians because of the speed. Made from stainless steel, it is re-useable and may be sterilized by any popular method. Comes with directions. Dr. Grossan didn't like cleaning ears with the old syringe technique, so he invented this method. While pushing the syringe plunger, the tip moved, causing concern that the stream might hit the ear drum. The tip was too large to see where the stream went. Pressure was impossible to regulate. Instead, our attachment for the Hydro Pulse has a small tip which allows the clinician to see where the streams are going. The streams are balanced, so there is no vibration. The pulsating action effectively removes the cerumen at very low pressure, reliably provided by the Hydro Pulse unit, so the system is safe. Sold to Health Professionals Only.
