What is Pulsatile Nasal Irrigation?
Nasal irrigation uses saline - just water & salt - to cleanse the nose. Your grandparents may have used this technique -basically snorting salt water - to cleanse their nasal passages; it has been used by many cultures and peoples including Indian yogis. This ancient ritual is made more effective by adding the benefits of pulsation for improved cleansing, and to help your body's most important disease-fighting mechanism, the nasal cilia. How is the Grossan Hydro Pulse Different? Why not use a pot with a spout, or some other, similar treatment?
The Grossan Hydro Pulse uses a pulsating stream to gently move nasal cilia to and fro at their natural, healthy rate of motion - the way the cilia normally protect your sinuses against foreign bodies. No other method does this. It has been shown, in dozens of journal articles, that the Grossan Hydro Pulse not only makes you feel clear and makes your breathing easy, it measurably improves the health and function of your cilia -it does much more than just treat symptoms or clean your nose out for the moment.
